Product Questions

No product listed or sold by Picasso Skin has been or will ever be tested on animals. We are a cruelty-free company.

None of our products contain parabens, FD&C colors, hydroquinone, or sodium lauryl sulfate.

The vast majority of our products are fragrance-free, however, a few contain a very small amount. Product ingredients are listed on each product page and packaging for reference.

No product listed or sold by Picasso Skin contains animal-derived ingredients.

While our products are formulated and tested for safety, an allergic reaction is unlikely, but possible. Everyone is unique, so a small chance of an allergic response exists with any product or ingredient sold anywhere. If you are unsure of any ingredient listed in our products, please contact your dermatologist or doctor before use.

In the event you do experience an unlikely reaction, stop use of our product immediately and contact your doctor. In addition, please let us know by messaging us at info@picassoskin.com.

Yes, all of our products are put through strict safety tests including, microbiological, temperature and stability testing.

Some ingredients such as AHA's, BHA's and others may carry some risk. We strongly recommend consulting with your dermatologist or doctor before using any product if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant.

Yes, all Picasso Skin products are gender neutral.

Yes, we carry Phytoretinol, which is made from Bakuchiol. This will give you the same anti-aging benefits, but without the irritation. We highly recommend this product for those who are sensitive to retinol.

Yes, our products can only be purchased through our website.

All of our products are formulated, manufactured and packaged in an internationally recognized cosmetic chemistry laboratory in Canada.

The vast majority of our products are suitable for all skin types. Always read the information on our product page and/or read the labels. If you are still unsure, it is best to talk to your dermatologist before use.

We also carry products formulated for those with sensitive skin. These products are part of our Sensitive Care line.

For optimal freshness and efficacy, it is best to store your skincare products in a cool, dark place out of direct sunlight. In most cases room temperature is ok as long as it is not exposed directly to the sun. However, all of our products undergo temperature and stability testing, so they will still remain stable at elevated temperatures. Keeping them cooler, as described above, is still best.

While individual products may vary, the average shelf-life of our products is around 2 years when left unopened and 6 to 8 months after opening (depending on which product).

Storage

Shipping & Order Status

We provide free shipping on all orders $80 and over within the United States. We charge a flat shipping rate of $7 on all other orders within the United States.

International shipping costs will be based on standard rates for your respective country.

Yes, once your order is placed you will receive a confirmation email containing your tracking number and other information. In the event you do not receive your email, please check your spam folder before contacting us at info@picassoskin.com.

At Picasso Skin we strive to use as much eco-friendly packaging as possible. All orders come in biodegradable boxes and biodegradable packing peanuts. Simply pour water over the peanuts in your sink and they will dissolve. They are made from starch, so there is no negative impact on the environment.

There is no need to donate, as a portion of every purchase goes toward various forest restoration projects world-wide, including planting trees, cleaning waterways, etc.

Miscellaneous

Always read the instructions for use on the packaging, or talk to your dermatologist first. A general rule of thumb though is to apply products in order of thinnest consistency to thickest.

Our products are formulated and produced in one of the premiere cosmetic chemistry labs in Canada using carefully selected botanicals. In addition, the majority of the extracts used are extracted in-house for freshness and purity. Every order is delivered with a personal touch and a portion of every order goes towards carbon offsetting, as we care about the world we live in.

Last, but not least, an often overlooked ingredient in high quality skincare products is water. The water used in our products is sourced from an area in Canada that produces some of the purest waterways found on planet earth.
